SUPER proud mom ang Kapamilya actress na si Iza Calzado sa anak nila ni Ben Wintle na si Deia Amihan.
Aminado ang premyadong aktres na pasok na pasok na siya ngayon sa kanyang “stage-mother era” matapos ang singing performance ng bagets sa kanilang tahanan.
Sa kanyang Instagram post, mapapanood ang video ni Amihan habang kumakanta ng “Reflection,” ang Disney song mula sa hit animated movie na “Mulan.”
Sey ni Iza sa kanyang caption, “This little performance caught me by surprise. Not because Deia was singing and emoting (she does that quite often), but because this time, I watched her tell a whole story.”
Ayon pa sa aktres, kusang lumabas ang pagiging natural performer ng anak kung saan makikita ngang pumikit-pikit pa ito at inilagay ang isang kamay sa kanyang dibdib.
“From where she stood to how she moved, it was all her. No direction from me!” chika pa niya.

Mas naging meaningful pa raw ang moment na yun para kay Iza nang mapansin niya ang isang bagay na pamilyar sa performance ng anak dahil ipinaalala sa kanya ni Deia ang yumaong amang si Lito Calzado, na isang choreographer at direktor.

Sa isang panayam, sinabi ni Iza na napakarami niyang natututunan sa kanyang journey as a mom.
“It’s a continuous discovery. Again, that I am able to love this much, and sacrifice as much as I have for Deia and the family, the Iza back then was not the same person. I’m not the same person.
“What I discovered is I am really a student of life. But even more so now. Talagang bukas na bukas ako at gustong gusto ko matuto because I want to be better for Deia and for myself, of course,” saad pa ni Iza.
