Max Collins joined the online fun after netizens noticed her resemblance to the first-ever Miss Grand International All Stars Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia.
On Facebook, the Kapuso actress reacted to the viral comparisons by posting a playful message.
“Salamat sa lahat ng bumati,” Max wrote with three laughing emojis.
Her post quickly drew laughs from followers, with many continuing the joke in the comments section.
“Partida galing pa yaan sparkle run kahapon evictus agad with glam team ppnta Thailand lol,” a user commented.
“Yong pagising mo panalo kana sa MGI All Stars,” another said.
Vanessa won the inaugural competition on Saturday, besting 55 other candidates.
The Philippines had five representatives in the pageant: Gazini Ganados, Fuschia Anne Ravena, Alexia Nuñez, Imelda Schweighart, and Keylyn Trajano.
Fuschia finished in the Top 18, while Alexia, Imelda, and Keylyn bowed out early.
Gazini finished in the Top 5, earning applause as she strutted in a sultry pasarela and then a golden gown by Filipino designer Rian Fernandez.
Meanwhile, Max currently stars in “The Master Cutter” with Dingdong Dantes.
