Kapuso actor Xian Lim is set to graduate with a degree in music production from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde this July 2026.
In a recent Instagram post, Xian shared that his journey to finishing college took years—and wasn’t exactly straightforward.

“I started working at an early age. At 15, my first job was in a restaurant, and right after school, I’d head straight into my shift, excited to earn and learn. Not long after, I spent about a year working at Costco, juggling work and studies just to make ends meet, before eventually moving to the Philippines,” he wrote.
An opportunity in the entertainment industry led him to pursue acting full-time, putting his studies on hold. But despite building a successful career, he admitted there was still a lingering goal he hadn’t fulfilled.
After 15 years in showbiz, Xian decided to return to school through Benilde’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). He also opened up about feeling hesitant at first, sharing that he had doubts about going back and wondered if it might be too late.
“Going back to school at this stage in my life wasn’t easy. I had doubts. I felt shy, even embarrassed, thinking maybe it was too late. More than anything, I was afraid of failing,” he shared.
Now, he’s set to march with his fellow graduates on July 4, 2026, at the Philippine International Convention Center.
