When we think of a hot girl summer, we already have a vision of how it’s going to be: finally wearing those summer dresses, cool fabric tops, and bikinis that we’ve kept hidden in our closets, going to the beach, and simply being outside—soaking up the sun and flaunting that glow.
But as we tick off our summer bucket list one experience at a time, what keeps us feeling beautiful and confident throughout is having radiant and healthy skin that makes us feel comfortable in our own skin.
Fortunately, we came across this beauty brand during our Boracay Labor Day weekend trip, reminding us of the importance of prioritizing skin health through a simple yet straightforward skincare routine that we can actually stick to, while feeling confident that the products can work for our skin sensitivities.
The skincare brand that’s currently the talk of the town
We discovered ClearDea during their exclusive Boracay pop-up event, where we got to see how skincare can be both effective, accessible, and easy to incorporate into daily life.
With their pop-up, we were able to discover products that prioritize both skin health and comfort. Designed for sensitive skin, their products are carefully developed to work well with the country’s hot and humid weather.
We were also able to test these products during the pop-up event, and we loved how light and refreshing the formulas felt on the skin. Among their signature products is the Mucin Collagen Voluming Cream Ampoule, a lightweight, oil-free, and non-sticky moisturizer infused with three types of plant mucin and seven types of collagen. Continuous use is said to provide not only a glass-skin glow but also a healthy skin barrier that keeps you more hydrated and radiant.

We also got to explore more of their skincare products. Among those that caught our attention were the Minari Pore Ampoule Cleanser, Minari Calming Gel Serum, and Minari Deep Cool Soothing Cream—a mild and cooling skincare line that spotlights South Korea’s favorite skincare ingredient, minari, which is known for its calming and potent soothing properties that could help in reducing sensitive, red, and textured skin.

Aside from their versatile lineup of skincare products that you can use during your morning or evening routine, how could we forget sunscreen? Thankfully, we were also introduced to their Pure Fit Tinted Sun Lotion, which has a minty and lightweight formula that’s ideal to use, especially in the hot and humid weather we are accustomed to.
And if you’re going for a dewy, no makeup-makeup look this summer, their Mucin Skin Tinted Base is a Korean BB cream that has a silky and smooth texture that does not leave behind a heavy feel once applied to moisturized skin.
Apart from trying out their skincare products, the pop-up event felt even more lively thanks to interactive games, fun freebies, and a live DJ set that perfectly matched Boracay’s vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
