Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) expanded access to free digital skills training through a partnership with UNESCO-UNEVOC and the HP Foundation.
The new courses are available through the TESDA Online Program and include content from HP LIFE, a free business and digital skills training platform. Learners can access the courses through TESDA’s online learning portal.
Among the new offerings are lessons on artificial intelligence, covering AI fundamentals, responsible AI use, and practical applications for work and business.
TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez said the initiative aims to help Filipinos develop skills needed to stay competitive as technology continues to transform industries.
The program is part of UNESCO’s Global Skills Academy, which seeks to help millions of learners worldwide gain job-ready skills by 2029.
