Samsung has launched its new T7 and T9 microSD cards in the Philippines, replacing the company’s previous EVO-branded storage lineup.
The new T series includes multiple storage options with capacities of up to 1TB. Samsung said the updated naming system is intended to simplify its microSD card lineup for consumers.
The Samsung T7 microSD cards are available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants. The cards support read speeds of up to 170MB/s and carry U3, V30, and A2 speed ratings.
Meanwhile, the T9 series is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities. Samsung said the cards support read speeds of up to 200MB/s and write speeds of up to 130MB/s.
Both series feature water, temperature, drop, wear-out, magnet, and X-ray resistance. They are compatible with smartphones, tablets, drones, action cameras, and other supported devices.
The new T7 and T9 microSD cards are now available through Samsung’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
