Dyson has officially announced the Philippine arrival of the Supersonic Travel, a re-engineered, compact version of its iconic hair dryer designed specifically for the modern frequent flyer.
Marking a major shift in the brand’s beauty-tech strategy, the Supersonic Travel arrives as a direct response to the “hotel dryer dilemma,” offering professional-grade performance in a frame that is 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the original model.
The headline feature of the Supersonic™ Travel is its Automatic Universal Voltage (100V–240V). Unlike traditional high-performance dryers that require heavy transformers or risk short-circuiting abroad, the new Dyson automatically adapts to international power standards.
It has Intelligent Heat Control that measures exit air temperature 100 times per second to prevent extreme heat damage. It also has Backward Compatibility that makes the Dyson Supersonic Travel as the first Dyson travel tool designed to fit existing attachments from the Supersonic and Supersonic Nural lines. There is Precision Performance which has three heat settings and two speed modes, delivering 11.6 liters of air per second.
The Dyson Supersonic Travel is positioned as a high-utility investment for professionals and creators with a price tag of ₱17,999.
Dyson will have an interactive consumer showcase on May 15-17 at SM Megamall where live styling demonstrations, travel-ready hair consultations, and exclusive “Ceramic Pink” colorway previews.
