The Office of the Ombudsman has started its fact-finding investigation into the shooting incident at the Senate on May 13.

As part of its probe, the Ombudsman transmitted a letter to the Senate Public and Information Bureau (PRIB) requesting the list of names of media personnel who were at the chamber from May 13 to May 14, 2026. It also requested the logbook entries indicating the time of log-in and log-out of the media workers.

The letter, dated May 15, was submitted to the Senate on Tuesday.
