Fans of the fan-favorite 2016 K-Drama “Love in the Moonlight” are in for a special treat!

According to a report published by Soompi, KBS is set to produce a special variety program in celebration of the drama’s 10th anniversary.
The report stated that lead actors Kim Yoo Jung, Park Bo Gum, Jung Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon are in discussions to participate in the special variety show. Afterwards, the filming is reportedly scheduled for early August.
“Love in the Moonlight” is a coming-of-age story that is set during the 19th-century Joseon dynasty. It is based on the web novel “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds,” which was first published on Naver in 2013 and then published as a five-part series of books in 2015.
The romance series follows the story of a Crown Prince named Lee Young (played by Park Bo Gum) and his blossoming relationship with eunuch Hong Ra On (played by Kim Yoo Jung). During its run, it achieved both commercial and critical success and garnered multiple nominations at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.
More details about the variety special are yet to be announced.
