Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano are taking a break from their on-screen partnership.
In a recent guesting on Bianca Gonzalez’s Paano Ba ‘To? podcast, the Kapamilya stars shared that their upcoming film Tayo Sa Wakas will be their last project together—for now.

After working on multiple projects over the years, the pair described the decision as something intentional, tied to their growth as artists.
“We’ve done so many projects throughout the years. Me and Belle decided that for this specific movie, it will be our last DonBelle project for now,” Pangilinan said.
Rather than treating it as a simple send-off, both emphasized that the film holds a deeper significance for them. According to Pangilinan, they’re putting their full focus into making the project count.
“We’re focusing all our energy to make sure this movie is worth it,” he added.
Mariano also opened up about the mix of emotions that comes with closing this chapter while stepping into new opportunities individually.
“We’re really so dedicated [to] doing this project really, really well. We’re just so excited for what’s ahead for both of us. I know that there’s so much that we are going to go through—it’s scary, but it’s okay,” she shared.
She also highlighted their intention to make the film meaningful for those who have supported them throughout their journey.
“Now that we said this is our last for now, we really want to make it worth it for everyone. Right now, we are just really giving our best—everything,” Mariano said.
Tayo Sa Wakas is expected to show a more mature side of the two, reflecting how they’ve evolved not just as a love team, but as individual performers exploring new directions.
