Dell has unveiled a new budget-friendly version of its XPS 13 laptop, aiming to attract students and young professionals. The device starts at USD 699 ( PHP 43,184.22 ), with a discounted USD 599 ( PHP 37,006.22 ) price for eligible students aged 16 and above during the back-to-school season.
According to Dell, the new XPS 13 is its thinnest and lightest laptop yet, weighing around half a pound less than Apple’s MacBook Neo while offering a larger display. The launch comes as Dell seeks to compete in the growing affordable premium laptop market.

Apple introduced the MacBook Neo earlier this year with a starting price of USD 599. Dell believes students and consumers are looking for more high-quality computing options at accessible price points, making the new XPS 13 a strong alternative.
