Ruru Madrid shared a heartfelt message for his younger sister, Rere, after she married basketball star Kai Sotto.
On Instagram, Ruru shared snaps from the wedding and expressed his love and support for his “baby sister.”
“You may have a 7’3″ husband now, but you’ll always be my baby sister. And I’ll always be your kuya,” Ruru wrote.
“Congratulations to both of you, Bayaw and Bunso!” he added, accompanied by a celebratory toast emoji.
Kai likewise expressed his gratitude for Ruru, writing “Thank you bayaw,” in the comment section.
Rere and Kai got married in a dreamy garden wedding on May 27 at Neri’s Secret Garden in Alfonso, Cavite.
Spotted in attendance were Ruru, his girlfriend Bianca Umali, and Parokya ni Edgar who had a surprise jam at the reception.
Rere and Kai hard-launched their relationship at the GMA Gala in 2024.
