ASUS Philippines has announced the official local availability of the ExpertBook P5 G2 and ExpertBook P3 G2, two AI-powered business laptops aimed at executives, hybrid professionals, SMEs, and digital nomads. Built for demanding work environments, the new models combine on-device AI performance, enterprise-grade security, and military-grade durability.
Power for AI Work
The ExpertBook P5 G2 is the higher-end option built for power users who need strong AI performance in a portable form factor. It is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor with 55 NPU TOPS, allowing AI workloads to run locally on the device rather than relying on the CPU or GPU alone. This helps it deliver faster AI-assisted performance without interrupting other applications.
The device can be configured with up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 6TB of dual-SSD storage, making it suitable for heavy multitasking, large datasets, and simultaneous AI-driven workflows. It also includes ASUS ExpertCool thermal management, which is designed to sustain performance while keeping the system quiet and cool under load.
Copilot and ASUS MyExpert
The ExpertBook P5 G2 is certified as a Copilot+ PC, which means it meets Microsoft’s minimum requirement of 40 NPU TOPS. That unlocks Microsoft Copilot features such as real-time translation, document retrieval, and workflow assistance, with a dedicated Copilot key for quick access.
It also has ASUS MyExpert, an AI platform for ASUS Expert-series devices that offers AI Chat, a searchable Knowledge Hub, writing tools, and intelligent mail management. ASUS AI ExpertMeet is part of the suite and adds AI Meeting Minutes, translated subtitles in 40-plus languages, noise cancellation, and smart camera adjustment for video calls.
ASUS notes that MyExpert is scheduled to roll out in the Philippines in late 2026, while some features are already available through AI ExpertMeet.
Balanced Performance for More Users
The ExpertBook P3 G2 is built for administrators, hybrid workers, and budget-conscious professionals who still want capable business hardware. It comes in 14-inch and 16-inch variants and is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with a dedicated NPU delivering up to 39 TOPS.
Like the P5 G2, it supports up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and dual-SSD expandability up to 6TB, making it well suited for users managing large file libraries, high-resolution assets, or extensive client databases. The P3 G2 also features a 2.5K anti-glare display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and a 70Wh battery for all-day productivity.
The laptop also includes ASUS AI ExpertMeet, with AI Meeting Minutes, real-time translated subtitles across 40-plus languages, and AI noise cancellation. ASUS says these features all run on-device, helping keep confidential business data local. The P3 G2 further includes ASUS MyExpert advanced tools and SafeGuard Backup for secure storage.
Durability and Security
Both laptops boast a full metal chassis that meets the US MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standard. The devices were independently tested to withstand impact, temperature changes, pressure variations, and liquid spills, making them suitable for the unpredictable conditions many Filipino professionals face.
Security is handled through the ASUS ExpertGuardian suite. This includes an NIST SP 800-155-compliant BIOS with five years of BIOS and driver update support, Windows 11 Secured-Core technologies, TPM 2.0 hardware encryption, FIDO2 fingerprint authentication, a physical webcam shield, and a nano Kensington lock slot.
