At least five individuals were injured after a fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Caniogan, Pasig City.
According to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Luisito Santos on Saturday, the Pasig City Fire Station said among those who got injured were a 54-year-old resident who is suspected to have broken bones and a fire volunteer.
Initial investigation showed the fire began at around 11:56 a.m. at one of the houses on Sto. Niño Street.
A total of 51 fire trucks were needed to put out the fire after it reached the first alarm.
The fire was declared under control at 1:35 p.m. and out at 2:57 p.m.
Fifteen houses were burned, and around 30 families were displaced.
